Apple has a possible target date of 2027 for a rumored Apple AI Pin to add to its devices in the Apple ecosystem. This pin, think Star Trek communicator from the more recent run of films and television shows, will have 2 cameras and 3 microphones as part of its devices features. It will likely be used by 'Apple Intelligence' and allow questions and audio responses as well as object identification. It will be about the size of an AirTag in its thin, flat, circular design, but thicker.
This Apple AI Pin will be like an extension of 'Apple Intelligence' features and likely be used along with your phone.
The Apple device does not appear to be a stand-alone device as that one but will integrate with your phone or into the Apple ecosystem.
There are also badges that have no AI features that are available not made by Apple, but can spruce up your bag or your look.
