Image courtesy of LEGO. The Consumer Electronics Show or CES has showcased that LEGO has released a new system called SMART PlayTM. This will enable LEGOs to be able to use the SMART Brick, SMART Tags, and SMART Minifigures that will respond to different things like light and sound and have other types of sensors such as accelerometers and synthesizers as well as mini speakers.  These new types of LEGO innovations will be available starting in March 2026.  It won’t be long before the cats are meowing and the dogs are barking when building these new sets that are yet to come.

There are currently sets of our favorite pets available to build, but not yet in the SMART PlayTM system.
